The work takes place in two different contexts.
Work at the company premises
– Interpret mechanical drawings and project information produced by the technical department
– Verify the bill of materials and market components required
– Receives and checks mechanical parts and semi-finished products from external suppliers
– Prepares the assembly of machines or plant parts and carries out dry runs
– Following successful testing, dismantles the individual parts and proceeds with packaging for shipment, checking the necessary technical documentation.
Work at the customer’s premises
– Verify the conditions of the premises based on the project specifications
– Proceeds with the final installation of machines and systems
– Liaises with the customer’s managers to monitor the progress of the work
– Make modifications and adjustments to resolve any assembly problems
– Ensures that the work complies with safety regulations
– Monitors and complies with the project schedule, reporting any need for rescheduling to headquarters
– Performs tests and trials with validation by the customer’s managers
– Supports the customer’s operators with basic training and operational instructions
– At the end of the project, drafts a report for your area manager, with details of any problems, solutions and special features encountered
Skills and training
– Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
– Willingness to travel for work and interact with customer representatives
– Mechanical engineering diploma or similar basic skills
– Knowledge of English
– 3-5 years’ experience in similar roles
