The ideal candidate will have a background in electronics or automation and at least 3 years’ experience
in Siemens Motion PLC programming and software development for process control and
automatic machine control.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, commissioning and putting into operation the software
for machines/systems, following project requirements and meeting objectives in terms of time, cost
and quality.
The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary development team, working alongside
mechanical designers and will interface with the development teams of our production management system. They will be required to:
• share and manage critical issues with the Project Manager responsible for the job;
• develop the software (PLC and HMI) necessary for the required functionality;
• oversee testing and commissioning activities, both on site at customer premises and via
remote support.
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in disciplines such as Electronics or Mechatronics
• Knowledge of PLC and Motion Software Programming techniques
• Knowledge of Siemens and/or Rockwell systems and development environments
• 3 years’ experience in similar positions
The ideal candidate will also have:
• Ability to work in a team, ability to interact with business users
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for short periods
• Excellent knowledge of Italian and English
