At IFFA 2022, Pulsar Industry presented a series of innovative solutions for production and packaging departments, including a robotic case packing system for bags and trays containing sliced meats and cubes. This advanced system features a compact, single-unit design, designed to accommodate one or two parallel-kinematic robots, depending on the customer’s needs.

The system integrates parallel-kinematic robots supported by a latest-generation vision system that intercepts the product arriving from the production lines, whether in single or multiple trays. The robots pick up the product, orient it correctly, and gently place it into the destination carton. The cartons are then directed to the closing and labeling stages.
For bag packaging, the monoblock houses a parallel-kinematics robot that forms stacks of the desired size, assisted by an anthropomorphic robot that inserts the stack into the preformed carton. The system is designed to handle any type of carton, including those intended for direct sale to the consumer, offering unparalleled operational flexibility.
