The ideal candidate will have a background in electronics or automation and at least 3 years’ experience
\nin Siemens Motion PLC programming and software development for process control and
\nautomatic machine control.
\nThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, commissioning and putting into operation the software
\nfor machines\/systems, following project requirements and meeting objectives in terms of time, cost
\nand quality.<\/p>\n
The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary development team, working alongside
\nmechanical designers and will interface with the development teams of our production management system. They will be required to:
\n\u2022 share and manage critical issues with the Project Manager responsible for the job;
\n\u2022 develop the software (PLC and HMI) necessary for the required functionality;
\n\u2022 oversee testing and commissioning activities, both on site at customer premises and via
\nremote support.<\/p>\n
Requirements:
\n\u2022 Degree or diploma in disciplines such as Electronics or Mechatronics
\n\u2022 Knowledge of PLC and Motion Software Programming techniques
\n\u2022 Knowledge of Siemens and\/or Rockwell systems and development environments
\n\u2022 3 years’ experience in similar positions
\nThe ideal candidate will also have:
\n\u2022 Ability to work in a team, ability to interact with business users
\n\u2022 Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for short periods
\n\u2022 Excellent knowledge of Italian and English<\/p>\n
